Job summary

HRI Hospitality is seeking a Bartender to join our Food & Beverage team. You will prepare cocktails, serve guests, maintain bar cleanliness, and handle payments using POS systems.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year of bartending or high-volume experience, a high school diploma, and knowledge of drink recipes and local alcohol regulations. Certification is preferred where applicable and the role involves standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• Requires a High school diploma or equivalent; bartending certification preferred where applicable.
• Minimum 1 year bartending or high-volume restaurant/bar experience preferred.
• Knowledge of drink recipes, mixology, and POS systems required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and other beverages according to standard recipes.
• Greet and engage guests, take orders, and provide recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar area, including counters, equipment, and glassware.
• Restock liquor, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and supplies throughout the shift.
• Process payments accurately using POS systems; handle cash and tabs responsibly.
• Verify guest identification to ensure legal drinking age compliance.
• Follow all sanitation, safety, and alcohol service policies and procedures.
• Assist with bar opening and closing duties.
• Report any equipment or maintenance needs promptly.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Education High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bartending certification preferred (where applicable).
