Job summary

HRI Hospitality is seeking a Bartender to join the Food & Beverage team. You will craft cocktails and other beverages, greet guests, and ensure a seamless bar experience in a fast-paced environment.

Experience in bartending and knowledge of mixology, along with POS handling, are preferred. Join us to contribute to excellent service, maintain cleanliness, and support daily bar operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bartending certification preferred (where applicable).
• Experience minimum 1 year of bartending or high-volume restaurant/bar experience preferred.
• Knowledge of drink recipes, mixology, and POS systems required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and other beverages according to standard recipes.
• Greet and engage guests, take orders, and provide recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar area, including counters, equipment, and glassware.
• Restock liquor, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and supplies throughout the shift.
• Process payments accurately using POS systems; handle cash and tabs responsibly.
• Verify guest identification to ensure legal drinking age compliance.
• Follow all sanitation, safety, and alcohol service policies and procedures.
• Assist with bar opening and closing duties.
• Report any equipment or maintenance needs promptly.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Supervision Received: Assistant F&B Manager / F&B Manager

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Education High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bartending certification preferred (where applicable).
• Experience Minimum 1 year of bartending or high-volume restaurant/bar experience preferred.
• Knowledge of drink recipes, mixology, and POS systems required.

Skills & Knowledge

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and cocktail preparation.
• Understanding of responsible alcohol service and state/local regulations.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods.
• Strong cash-handling and basic math skills.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and cleanliness.
