Job summary

Westgate Resorts is hiring a Bartender for our Florida resort to create and serve beverages with friendly, attentive service. You will maintain a clean, organized bar and follow responsible alcohol service standards.

You will demonstrate our core values of Passion, Integrity, and Work Ethic in every guest interaction, setup the bar, manage inventory, and work with servers to ensure a seamless Food & Beverage operation.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of bartending or related experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of drink preparation and responsible service.
• Experience with POS systems and cash handling.
• Strong guest service, communication, multitasking, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and guest preferences.
• Provide friendly, efficient service and make recommendations to enhance the guest experience.
• Verify guest identification, monitor alcohol consumption, and follow responsible alcohol service requirements.
• Set up, stock, clean, and maintain the bar, equipment, glassware, and supplies.
• Operate the POS system, process payments, and follow cash-handling procedures.
• Assist with inventory, restocking, and maintaining beverage and supply levels.
• Work closely with servers and other Team Members to ensure smooth Food & Beverage operations.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and company service standards.

Job Description

Qualifications

What You Will Bring as a Bartender:

• 1-2 years of bartending or related experience required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of drink preparation, mixing techniques, and responsible alcohol service.
• Experience with POS systems and cash handling.
• Strong guest service, communication, multitasking, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work efficiently and professionally in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and occasionally lift, push, pull, or move up to 50 pounds.
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts.
• Comfortable working in indoor and outdoor bar environments with moderate noise and varying weather conditions.
