Job summary

Westgate River Ranch Resort & Rodeo is hiring a Bartender to craft beverages and deliver a welcoming guest experience at our Florida dude ranch. You will maintain an organized bar, follow safe alcohol service, and work with the food and beverage team to meet guest expectations.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of bartending experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a TIPS certification. This is a fast-paced, on-site role with flexible scheduling and safety standards in place.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of bartending or related experience required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Responsible Vendor/TIPS Certification required.
• Knowledge of drink preparation and responsible alcohol service.
• Cash handling and POS experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and guest preferences.
• Provide friendly, efficient service and make recommendations to enhance the guest experience.
• Verify guest identification, monitor alcohol consumption, and follow responsible alcohol service requirements.
• Set up, stock, clean, and maintain the bar, equipment, glassware, and supplies.
• Operate the POS system, process payments, and follow cash-handling procedures.
• Assist with inventory, restocking, and maintaining beverage and supply levels.
• Work closely with servers and other Team Members to ensure smooth Food & Beverage operations.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and company service standards.

Job Description

As a Bartender, you will create a welcoming guest experience by preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with friendly, attentive service. You will maintain a clean and organized bar while following responsible alcohol service and company standards.

Qualifications

What You Will Bring as a Bartender:

• 1-2 years of bartending or related experience required.


• High school diploma or GED required.


• Responsible Vendor/TIPS Certification required.


• Knowledge of drink preparation, mixing techniques, and responsible alcohol service.


• Experience with POS systems and cash handling.


• Strong guest service, communication, multitasking, and teamwork skills.


• Ability to work efficiently and professionally in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and occasionally lift, push, pull, or move up to 50 pounds.


• Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts.


• Comfortable working in indoor and outdoor bar environments with moderate noise and varying weather conditions.
