As a key member of our service team, you should be exceedingly welcoming and capable of serving guests in a manner that reflects our hospitality approach – “Every Guest is Our Only Guest.” Responsibilities include coordinating lounge and bar operations, serving guests, and communicating effectively with front- and back-of-the-house staff to ensure a superior dining experience.

Responsibilities

1. Preparation and Oversight:
   • Ensure proper setup of lounge & bar from start to end of shift.
   • Maintain knowledge of all food & beverage items, inform customers about details, and suggest menu items.
   • Navigate POS system efficiently for order entry and record keeping.
   • Enter orders correctly and manage tabs for guests.
   • Update on menu changes regularly.
   • Handle cash drawer responsibly during shifts.
2. Customer Service:
   • Exceed guest expectations, anticipate needs, and serve according to etiquette.
   • Address customer complaints appropriately and escalate when necessary.
   • Compute checks, accept payments, and handle credit or change accurately.
   • Perform regular quality checks for all guests at the bar.
   • Maintain proper table service for dining guests.
   • Ensure all food and drinks are prepared to Colony Grill standards.
3. Other Responsibilities:
   • Observe liquor laws, inspect IDs, and prevent overserving.
   • Maintain professionalism and attend all training and meetings.
   • Follow health and safety regulations.

Requirements

1. Must be at least 18 years old.

4. Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry up to 30 lbs.
5. Maintain a steady pace during shifts of up to 10 hours.
