Job summary

Salish Lodge & Spa is seeking a Bartender to craft cocktails and deliver inspired drink experiences to guests. You will maintain beverage knowledge, present drinks attractively, and ensure bar equipment operates smoothly in a high hospitality standard environment.

The role requires a Year of related experience, liquor knowledge, and valid food handling/mixologist permits. Perks include competitive pay and benefits with Columbia Hospitality offerings.

Qualifications

• At least one year of related education, training, and/or experience.
• Knowledge of liquor laws and regulations.
• Current State Food Handler’s License and State Mixologist Permit required.
• Ability to mix and serve a wide variety of drinks.

What Success Looks Like

• Maintains current knowledge of food and beverage offerings, including menu changes
• Ability to mix and serve a wide variety of drinks
• Ensure attractive and consistent presentation of food and beverage
• Demonstrate proper operation of all bar equipment
• Responsible for stocking and maintaining bar in accordance with established procedures
• Process guest payments using proper accounting and cash handling procedures
• Keeps area clean and organized

What You Bring

• At least one year of related education, training, and/or experience.
• Ability to perform essential functions on the computerized Point of Sale system.

• Ability to mix and serve a wide variety of drinks.
• Knowledge of applicable liquor laws and regulations.
• Current State Food Handler’s License and State Mixologist Permit required

Native American/Alaskan Native preference applies under applicable TERO requirements
