Part-Time

Join the Sheraton Sioux Falls Waters food and beverage team in our beautiful atrium setting, located near Denny Sanford Premier Center and Sioux Falls Convention Center. Our guests include international travelers, concert-goers, sports teams, business travelers, families, and locals. If you enjoy variety, this position is ideal for you!

Responsibilities include:

• Serving alcoholic beverages in accordance with liquor laws and company policies;
• Performing side duties such as cleaning, sanitizing, garnish prep, food and beverage prep, and stocking;
• Ensuring all alcohol is removed from tables and counters before closing;
• Completing opening and closing duties;
• Managing cash and secure money drops per policy;
• Reporting tips properly for tax purposes;
• Following health and sanitation guidelines to prevent cross-contamination;
• Rotating and dating food daily;
• Adhering to safety policies, reporting accidents or unsafe conditions;
• Performing other duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum six (6) months as a bartender;
• Licenses/Certifications: Food Safety and Alcohol Awareness certifications, or obtain within 60 days;
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally, 10 lbs regularly, and stand/walk for entire shift;
• Other: Flexibility to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
