The Ink Drinker is a small, independently owned bar that celebrates the joy of reading. We serve a curated selection of craft cocktails, zero-proof drinks, and literary-inspired creations in a cozy, welcoming setting. We’re seeking an experienced bartender who loves crafting thoughtful cocktails and mocktails. Bonus points if you’re passionate about literature or appreciate a good pun.

Requirements

• 2+ years of bartending experience in a cocktail-forward environment
• Familiarity with classic and modern cocktail techniques
• Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Interest in literature, storytelling, or creative culture a big plus
• Must have MAST 12 permit
• Must have food handler’s card

Responsibilities

• Craft high-quality cocktails and mocktails with consistency and care
• Provide warm, attentive, and efficient guest service
• Maintain a clean and organized bar station during service
• Assist with prep work (juices, syrups, garnishes, batching) as needed
• Collaborate with the Bar Manager on new drink ideas and seasonal updates
• Uphold health, safety, and alcohol service standards
• Help with opening, closing, restocking, and light side work
• Manage the tables in the 21+ area during the slower periods of the night
