Job summary

Santa Rosa Hampton Inn & Suites in Santa Rosa, CA is seeking a Part-Time Bartender for our lobby bar. You will serve beverages to patrons, inform guests of daily specials, and keep the bar area clean and stocked.

The role supports hotel dining operations and guest satisfaction in a fast-paced setting. The position requires 0–1+ year of customer service and bartending experience, and you must be 21 or older with eligibility for alcohol serving certification.

Responsibilities

• Inform guests of daily specials and take beverage orders.

• Maintain bar station, stock bar, and complete inventory logs.
• Compute bills and accept payments; ensure tips are reported for taxes.
• All other duties as assigned.

SUMMARY

Serves beverages to patrons as regulated by state and federal age requirements by performing the following duties

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Inform guests of daily specials and takes beverage order
• Monitor tables in assigned section ensuring all patrons are served
• Removes empty or dirty glasses and bottles, disposes properly of bottles and washes glasses in glass washer
• Ensure tables are cleaned for each patron
• Ensure ashtrays are at applicable tables
• Maintain bar station by keeping area tidy and stock bar by placing orders as needed
• Compute bill and accept payments
• Complete bar inventory log
• Ensure tips are reported properly for tax processing
• All other duties as assigned

What we are looking for:

• 0 – 1+ year of customer service experience
• 0 – 1+ year of similar bartending experience
• Passionate about hospitality and creating an exceptional guest experience
• 21 years of Age or older
• Eligible to obtain alcohol serving certification
