Job summary

Fudale Tavern Inc in Rocky River, OH is seeking an energetic Bartender to join our friendly bar team. The role involves crafting cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks, greeting guests, and delivering memorable service in a welcoming tavern setting.

You will maintain a clean bar, handle payments with a POS system, follow responsible serving guidelines, and collaborate with kitchen and floor staff to ensure smooth, efficient service, including opening/closing duties.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending or bar service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits.
• Must be 21+ and legally allowed to serve alcohol in Ohio.
• TIPS or ServSafe certification is a plus.
• Strong communication and a friendly personality.
• Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities:

• Mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to bar and restaurant guests
• Greet customers, take drink and food orders, and provide exceptional customer service
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area throughout each shift
• Process payments accurately using a POS system and handle cash transactions
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption and follow responsible serving guidelines
• Collaborate with kitchen and floor staff to ensure smooth, efficient service
• Assist with bar inventory, restocking, and opening/closing duties

Requirements:

• Previous bartending or bar service experience preferred
• Knowledge of classic cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits
• Must meet Ohio minimum age requirement to serve alcohol (21+)
• TIPS or ServSafe alcohol certification is a plus
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality
