General Summary: The Bartender will greet customers, learn about their preferences, answer questions, recommend menu items, and prepare and serve beverages and food. Responsibilities include upselling items, creating recipes, utilizing proper equipment and ingredients, and handling basic cleaning duties.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of experience required
• Meet state minimum age (18) to serve alcohol
• Dependability: being reliable, responsible, and fulfilling obligations
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Basic math and computer skills
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Team player is a MUST
• Strong task and time management abilities
• Eye for detail and understanding of drink mixing tools and techniques
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, etc., for extended periods, and lift up to 30 lbs
• Maintain composure, control emotions, and avoid aggressive behavior in difficult situations

Compensation & Benefits:

Pay rates vary by state:

• Maryland: $3.63 - 10.00/hr plus tips
• Pennsylvania: $2.83/hr plus tips
• Delaware: $2.23/hr plus tips
• Florida: $9.98/hr plus tips
• Texas: $2.13/hr plus tips

Full-time employees working 30+ hours are eligible for health, dental, vision insurance, 401k, life and AD&D insurance, learning and development programs, mobility and advancement opportunities, pet insurance, and a 25% discount at Atlas properties.
