Job Summary

The Premium Bartender prepares and serves beverages to guests in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Adhere to state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations regarding serving alcohol to minors and intoxicated guests.
2. Set up assigned bars; requisition and stock all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, garnishes, glassware, ice, and produce.
3. Maintain stock, prepare, cure, and store fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and perishables to ensure quality.
4. Greet guests courteously and friendly.
5. Take and process drink orders; mix, garnish, and present drinks using standard recipes; practice prudent portion control.
6. Check guest IDs for proper identification.
7. Detect and act upon guest inebriation as trained; demonstrate knowledge of liquor laws.
8. Handle cash, make change, verify charges, record transactions, and ensure vouchers are properly executed.
9. Secure beverage products, food, equipment, deposits, and cash; secure bank.
10. Perform cleaning tasks to meet health and safety standards; keep work area organized.
11. Arrange bottles and glasses attractively in the bar area.
12. Wash and sterilize stemware.
13. Perform other duties as assigned.
