Job summary

Paycom - ATS Portage, WI is seeking a bartender to handle setup, service, and maintenance of the bar area. Responsibilities include taking orders, mixing cocktails, serving drinks, and processing payments.

The role requires standing for long periods, the ability to work quickly, and lifting up to 40 pounds. A valid Bartender/Server certificate is required and uniform being provided by the employer.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Taking drink orders from patrons.
• Preparing and serving drinks in accordance with standard recipes.
• Mixing cocktails and serving wine and bottled/draft beer.
• Ringing orders into the cash register, processing payments and making change.
• Checking IDs to verify legal drinking age.
• Washing and sterilizing glassware.
• Preparing garnishes for drinks.
• Stocking all bar supplies.
• Maintaining clean and sanitary bar areas.
• Helping in other departments as needed.

Job Details: Job Location: Portage, WI 53901, Salary Range: $12.00 Hourly, Role and Responsibilities

Bartenders are responsible for the setup, cleanup, maintenance, and operation of the bars and bar seating areas.

The specific duties of a Bartender shall include but not be limited to:

• Taking drink orders from patrons
• Preparing and serving drinks in accordance with standard recipes
• Mixing cocktails according to recipes and serving wine and bottled and draft beer
• Ringing orders into the cash register, collecting payment and making change
• Checking ID’s of guests to determine if they are of legal drinking age
• Washing and sterilizing glassware
• Preparing garnishes for drinks
• Stocking all bar supplies
• Maintaining clean and sanitary conditions of the bar and bar areas at all times
• Helping in other departments as able and if necessary

Qualifications: Qualifications and Education Requirements

Able to be on your feet for the entire shift. Ability to work at a very fast pace. Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds. Must have current Bartender/Server training certificate. Minimum age requirement is 21. Uniform and dress code required.
