Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Barista to join our Coffee Shop team in Portage, WI. You will be responsible for setup, service, cleanup, and operation of the coffee shop in accordance with standard recipes and store procedures.

Queue duties include taking orders, preparing and serving coffee and other items, ringing orders, handling payments, and maintaining clean, sanitary work areas and proper temperatures.

Qualifications

• Weekends and holidays required.
• Able to be on your feet for the entire shift.
• Ability to work at a very fast pace.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Minimum age requirement is 16.
• Uniform and dress code required.

Responsibilities

• Taking orders from patrons.
• Preparing and serving coffee drinks in accordance with standard recipes.
• Preparing and serving other food and beverage items in accordance with standard recipes.
• Ensuring accurate accounting by ringing orders into the cash register, collecting payment and making change.
• Clearing and sanitizing tables in the seating area.
• Maintaining clean and sanitary work / storage areas always.
• Recording and maintaining proper cooler and food temperatures based on provided guidelines.

Job Details: Job Location: Portage, WI 53901, Salary Range: $15.00 - $16.00, Role and Responsibilities:

Baristas work in the Coffee Shop and are responsible for the setup, cleanup, maintenance, and operation of the coffee shop.

The specific duties of a Barista shall include but not be limited to:

• Taking orders from patrons
• Preparing and serving coffee drinks in accordance with standard recipes
• Preparing and serving other food and beverage items in accordance with standard recipes
• Ensuring accurate accounting by ringing orders into the cash register, collecting payment and making change
• Clearing and sanitizing tables in the seating area
