Job summary

The Lake Club in Poland, OH is seeking a personable bartender to deliver exceptional service across our private club venues. You will prepare and serve beverages, engage with members, and help maintain a welcoming, high-energy atmosphere.

Qualifications

Responsibilities:

• Service Excellence:Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages across the Grille Room, Member’s Patio, Pool, Halfway House, Bocce courts, and various banquet events.
• Member Engagement:Anticipate members' needs, respond promptly, and interact with guests and co-workers in a professional, courteous manner.
• Inventory Management:Oversee and restock liquor, beer, wine, and bar supplies across multiple service areas.
• Order Accuracy:Take food and beverage orders and correctly enter them into the POS system for timely delivery.
• Product Knowledge:Maintain a strong working knowledge of wines, spirits, and beers (including drafts and bottles).
• Operational Standards:Complete all opening, running, and closing side work while maintaining a clean, sanitized, and organized service area.

Qualifications:

• Legal Age:Must be at least 21 years old to serve alcoholic beverages.
• Experience:Prior bartending experience is preferred but not required—we will train the right personality!
• Availability:Must have a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
