## Description**Job Summary (Essential Functions):**The Bartender is responsible for providing exceptional beverage service to members and guests while maintaining a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar. This hands-on role supports the Head Bartender and works closely with barbacks, servers, and management to ensure timely, professional, and high-quality service in all club outlets.**Job Tasks/Duties:*** Prepares and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to club standards.* Provides attentive, friendly service to members and guests, creating a welcoming atmosphere.* Maintains a clean and organized bar area, including restocking supplies, glassware, and garnishes.* Assists in managing beverage inventory and communicates shortages to the Head Bartender or Food & Beverage Supervisor.* Follows responsible alcohol service guidelines at all times.* Works collaboratively with barbacks, servers, and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service.* Assists with opening, closing, and side work duties for the bar area.* Supports special events, banquets, and club functions as needed.* Participates in ongoing training and development to improve service and product knowledge.* Performs other duties as assigned by the Head Bartender, Food & Beverage Supervisor, or Clubhouse Manager.**Education and/or Experience:*** High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in hospitality or mixology preferred.* Minimum of 1–2 years of bartending experience in a restaurant, club, or hospitality environment.* Prior experience in a member-based or high-end service environment preferred.**Job Knowledge, Core Competencies and Expectations:*** Knowledge of beverage preparation, mixology, wine, beer, and spirits.* Ability to provide friendly, professional, and attentive service to members and guests.* Strong communication and teamwork skills; able to work collaboratively with bar and service staff.* Ability to maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked bar areas.* Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and responsible alcohol service.* Commitment to high standards of safety, sanitation, and member-focused hospitality.**Licenses and Special Requirements:*** TIPS or equivalent responsible alcohol service certification required.* ServSafe Alcohol or equivalent preferred.* Knowledge of cocktail, beer, and wine trends preferred.**Physical Demands and Work Environment:*** Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.* Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.* Fast-paced environment requiring quick movement, multitasking, and bending/stooping.* Must be available to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours during peak service.
