Job summary

Woodside Communities is seeking a Bartender to deliver exceptional beverage service for members and guests in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner. You will prepare and serve drinks, maintain bar inventory, and support a high standard of hospitality in a club setting.

The role requires knowledge of drink recipes, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work evenings and weekends. Prior bartending or hospitality experience is preferred, and compliance with responsible alcohol

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous bartending or hospitality experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of standard drink recipes, wine service, and bar operations preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Greet members and guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to Club recipes and standards.
  • Maintain knowledge of beverage menus, specialty cocktails, wine selections, and beer offerings.
  • Verify age requirements and ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with state laws and Club policies.
  • Accurately enter orders into the POS system and process payments when applicable.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including counters, sinks, glassware, coolers, and storage areas.
  • Restock liquor, wine, beer, mixers, garnishes, and supplies as needed.
  • Assist servers and other team members to ensure efficient food and beverage service.
  • Monitor inventory levels and notify management of shortages or supply needed.
  • Follow all sanitation, safety, and health regulations.
  • Open and close bar areas according to established procedures.
  • Maintain professional appearance and adherence to Club dress code standards.
  • Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required.
  • Promote a positive and team-oriented work environment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Brief Description
POSITION SUMMARY

The Bartender is responsible for providing exceptional food and beverage service to members and guests in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner. This position prepares and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while creating a welcoming atmosphere that reflects the high standards of the Club. The Bartender is expected to maintain excellent customer service, uphold responsible alcohol service practices, and contribute to a positive member experience.

DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS

The Bartender must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced hospitality environment. This individual must maintain professionalism at all times while building positive relationships with members, guests, and fellow team members. The ideal candidate demonstrates teamwork, reliability, and a commitment to delivering outstanding hospitality service.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Education & Experience

  • Knowledge of standard drink recipes, wine service, and bar operations preferred.

Physical Requirements

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position operates in a hospitality and food service environment that may include indoor and outdoor service areas. The environment may be fast-paced and require flexibility with scheduling, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and Club events.
