Rosa Mexicano seeks a welcoming Bartender—the Agave Specialist—to craft memorable cocktails and elevate guest experiences. You’ll showcase warm Latin hospitality, guide guests through tequila and mezcal pours, and maintain a vibrant, fast-paced bar that supports the dining team.

Ideal candidates have 1 year serving and bartending experience, knowledge of classic cocktails, and the stamina to stand through shifts. Part-time role with competitive tips and growth potential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Create regular guests and be the face of Rosa Mexicano's bar.
• Welcome guests with warm hospitality and treat them like home.
• Anticipate guest needs and offer thoughtful recommendations.
• Share agave knowledge to guide guests to their perfect pour.
• Craft cocktails from signature margaritas to seasonal features.
• Maintain a clean, organized bar and stock readiness.
• Communicate with servers and kitchen for seamless service.
• Handle cash and POS transactions responsibly.

What You'll Do

• Create regular guests, you're the face of Rosa Mexicano's bar experience.

• Communicate any bar specials to all bar and lounge guests.
• Craft cocktails that celebrate the spirit of Mexico — from our signature margaritas to creative seasonal features.
• Prioritize service bar tickets to ensure our dining room guests receive timely, perfectly crafted cocktails.
• Follow proper recipes, portioning, and methods.
• Follow our Service Steps as outlined.
• Maintain all Health and Sanitation Standards.
• Keep a 'never walk past a napkin on the floor' mentality.
• Lead with responsible alcohol service procedures.
• Deliver F & B with flair and personality — every order is part of the show.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar that's ready for action.
• Communicate constantly with servers, hosts, and kitchen staff to keep service seamless.
• Handle cash and POS transactions accurately and responsibly.
• Participate in pre-shifts, trainings, and team meetings — because we grow together.
• Work together with your teammates to keep the energy high and the service seamless — at Rosa Mexicano, teamwork is always on the menu.

Skills and Qualifications

• Organization and cleanliness.
• Serving Experience: 1 year preferred.
• Bartending Experience: 1 year preferred.
• Knowledge of classic cocktails.
• Familiar with industry's best practices.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Ability to stand on your feet through a shift.
• High School Degree or GED required.
