Job summary

Legends Music, LLC in New Orleans is seeking a bar service professional to prepare and serve beverages according to our recipes and standards. You will verify guest ages and process payments while maintaining accurate cash handling and a clean, stocked bar.

You will stay informed about menus and promotions, collaborate with teammates during busy periods, and assist with opening/closing tasks while upholding food safety and workplace safety policies.

Qualifications

• Experience in beverage service is a plus.
• Ability to handle cash and card transactions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to company standards and recipes.
• Verify guest age and identification to ensure compliance with all alcohol service regulations.
• Accurately process cash, credit card, and mobile payment transactions.
• Maintain knowledge of beverage menus, promotions, and venue policies.
• Restock bar supplies, liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, cups, and ice throughout shifts.
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption and refuse service when necessary in accordance with responsible alcohol service guidelines.
• Keep bar areas clean, organized, and sanitary at all times.
• Work efficiently during high-volume periods while maintaining quality service.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, including inventory counts and cleaning duties.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety policies.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth event operations.
• Address guest concerns professionally and escalated issues when appropriate.
