NY Pie - Nashville is hiring Bartenders for our Capitol View location in downtown Nashville. We seek candidates with a Wild Hospitality mindset to provide exceptional service in a fun, family-style pizzeria environment.

We offer competitive pay at $18-$27 per hour including tips, plus a flexible full or part-time schedule and opportunities to grow within the company. Must be 18+ and professional with strong work ethic.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a bartender in a restaurant setting required.
• Strong knowledge of mixology, spirits, beer, and wine.
• Familiarity with ingredients to address allergies and dietary needs.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for engaging customers and collaborating with teammates.
• Ability to manage high-volume service efficiently and calmly.
• Physical stamina to stand long periods and lift/kegs/beverage cases.
• Willingness to obtain proper state service certification if not already held.

Responsibilities

• Drink preparation: mix ingredients for cocktails, pour beer/wine, and make non-alcoholic beverages.
• Customer service: warmly greet guests, take orders, make recommendations.
• Bar maintenance: keep bar, glassware, and utensils clean and stocked.

Description

Responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, taking accurate food orders, serving meals, delivering exceptional customer service, managing bar inventory, and adhering to safety and sanitation regulations. Key duties include crafting drinks, processing payments, checking identification, and maintaining a clean, stocked bar in a fast-paced environment. Must be 18 years of age to apply.

• Drink Preparation: Mixing ingredients to create classic and innovative cocktails, pouring beer/wine, and preparing non-alcoholic beverages.
• Customer Service: Greeting guests warmly, taking orders, engaging with patrons, and making recommendations.
• Bar Maintenance: Keeping the bar, glassware, and utensils clean, organized, and properly stocked throughout the shift.
• Operations & Compliance: Following state and local liquor laws, checking IDs to prevent service to minors, and monitoring for intoxication.
• Cash Handling: Processing payments via POS systems (Toast) and managing tabs.
• Inventory Control: Monitoring inventory levels, restocking liquor, mixers, and garnishes.

Required Skills And Qualifications
