Pay Range

This range is provided by Air Education and Training Command. Your actual pay will depend on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Base pay range: $18.00/hr - $21.62/hr

Responsibilities

1. Operate limited service bars and prepare a variety of alcoholic drinks, beer, soda, and wine.
2. Serve patrons directly or deliver to waitstaff, handle payments, and operate cash register.
3. Set up the bar, maintain cleanliness, wash equipment, and stock supplies.
4. Assist higher-level bartenders and prepare documentation for cash accountability if required.
5. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Complete a background investigation with favorable results.
• Satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical.
• Obtain a Food Handler's Certificate or complete food handler’s training.

Qualifications

• Experience mixing alcoholic beverages, understanding proper proportions and mixtures.
• Ability to recognize intoxicated or unruly patrons and resolve issues or seek assistance.
• Follow cash handling procedures.
• Physical ability to lift objects weighing 5 to 15 pounds frequently, and up to 40 pounds occasionally.
