The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, following recipes and safety standards while maintaining a clean and organized bar. Daily tasks include welcoming guests, taking orders, providing recommendations, managing tabs, and handling cash and electronic payments accurately. The Bartender collaborates with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service and a consistent guest experience. The role also involves monitoring inventory, restocking supplies, adhering to local alcohol service regulations, and contributing to a positive, inclusive work environment. This on-site Bartender role is based at Playa Provisions in the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area/Beach Cities area.

Qualifications

• Strong Customer Service and Communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
• Knowledge of Food & Beverage service, including drink preparation, menu familiarity, and basic pairing recommendations.
• Cash Handling and point-of-sale (POS) experience to process payments accurately and manage tabs.
• Bartending skills, including mixing cocktails, pouring beverages responsibly, and understanding alcohol safety guidelines.
• Prior experience in a bar, restaurant, or hospitality environment required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, work in a fast-paced setting, and handle multiple tasks at once.
• Availability to work at least three shifts per week including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Valid Food Safety and RBS certification required within 30 days of beginning employement.
