Job summary

Origin Red Rocks in Golden, CO seeks a personable bartender to craft signature cocktails, suggest local beers and wines, and deliver an exceptional guest experience. You will prepare beverages, take orders, and maintain a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities include inventory, cash handling, ID checks, and ensuring bar cleanliness in a fast-paced setting. Prior mixology knowledge and customer service skills are preferred.

Qualifications

Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing and serving drinks.
Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean.
Relevant training certificate is required.

Responsibilities

Prepare both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
Interact with customers, take orders and serving
Assess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations
Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
Plan and present bar menu
Check customers' identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
Stay guest focused and provide an excellent guest experience
Comply with all food and beverage regulations
Superior knowledge of classic cocktails
Exemplify outstanding communication skills, create unique experiences for guests
Strong and efficient work ethic, including keeping a clean and tidy work area and guest areas clean
Complete opening/closing duties and prep/checklist
Adhere to cash handling policies with accurate billing
Know pour-cost control and participate in inventory and par levels

The role of a bartender is to provide an excellent guest experience, make signature cocktails, and offer recommendations regarding local craft beers and wines offered.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepare both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
Interact with customers, take orders and serving
Assess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations
Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
Plan and present bar menu
Check customers' identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age

Must have knowledge of pour-cost control, as well as participate in inventory, and determine adequate par levels
