Job summary

Rusty Pelican, Miami is seeking an experienced bartender to craft cocktails and deliver exceptional service at our iconic waterfront venue. You will engage guests with professionalism, showcase whiskey expertise, and maintain a pristine bar area to ensure an outstanding guest experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of bartending in high-volume settings.
• Strong knowledge of whiskey and other spirits; love of mixology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to exceptional service.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• TIPS or similar certification can be obtained upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a diverse range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair.
• Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a memorable experience.
• Demonstrate expert knowledge of whiskey varieties, origins, flavor profiles and pairings.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, stock inventory and supplies.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and ensure responsible service of alcohol.
• Collaborate with colleagues to uphold Odyssey's reputation for excellence.
• Provide assistance to other team members and perform additional duties as assigned.
