Bar Daphne, the signature Bar at the new Hotel Daphne, is building a passionate & hospitality-driven team to bring it to life. We are seeking dynamic individuals who will capture the very essence of this neighborhood and join our team as a Bartender.
Located in the charming Houston Heights neighborhood, Hotel Daphne is the latest project from Austin’s acclaimed hospitality group Bunkhouse Hotels. With 49 rooms, it’s an inviting escape in a residential neighborhood on the rise. Hotel Daphne features an all-day restaurant and bar, a library/small private events space, and a lobby retail shop signature to the Bunkhouse brand.
As Bartender you will mix and serve drinks to patrons (directly or through wait staff), wait on bar patrons and serve items from the bar menu. A Bartender must have good communication skills, the ability to resolve conflicts and a thorough understanding of Bunkhouse policies. All Bunkhouse/Hyatt employees are expected to greet all guests in proximity and make each feel important by providing a genuine welcome. Furthermore, Bartenders must develop and maintain the company’s culture, values, and reputation in the public eye, and with all staff, guests, vendors, and partners.
