Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a friendly bartender for Grand Rapids Complex to mix drinks, take orders, and deliver outstanding guest service during events. You will work in a fast-paced arena environment, maintain precise cash handling, and ensure compliance with all TIPs and ServSafe standards.

Experience preferred: at least one year behind a bar, valid TIPs/ServSafe. You will collaborate with team members to keep service flowing smoothly during concerts and games, adapt to seasonal temperature

Qualifications

• TIPs and ServSafe certifications required.
• 1 year bartending experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mix drinks to order and serve guests.
• Provide high-quality guest service and loyalty.
• Assist with major and minor events.
• Follow all Legends Global policies and procedures.

Job description

Essential Functions

• Be responsible for mixing drinks to order and serving the guests
• Performs other duties assigned Expectations
• Must have good customer service skills and the ability to develop and enhance guest loyalty
• Must follow all Legends Global policies and procedures
• Must be present for all major and Minor events at the Arena

Education & Experience

• Ability to complete required pre-employment food and alcohol service training (TIP's, Servsafe certification)
• Previous bartending experience preferred (at least 1 year)

Skills & Abilities

• Excellent guest service skills; ability to adhere to Service Standards of proper grooming and appearance
• Basic math skills: ability to accurately count change and balance bank
• Effective communication skills: ability to communicate with guests and receive orders
• Ability to work effectively with others
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment Physical Requirements

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and remain stationary for entire length of shift
• Constant walking, bending, reaching and repetitive motions
• Ability to perform normal lifting of stock, up to 50 pounds

Environmental Working Conditions

• May be exposed to variable temperatures, including extreme hold and cold, depending on season
• May be required to work in confined and/or narrow spaces
