Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a Restaurant/Catering Server for on-site roles at Grand Rapids complex. You will deliver exceptional guest service in clubs, suites, or in-seat environments, ensuring guest satisfaction through attentive, personalized service.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in fast-paced hospitality, with a high school diploma and Michigan Alcohol Server Certification. Ability to work varied hours including nights and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 1–2 years in a fast-paced high-end club or restaurant.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must possess Michigan Alcohol Server Certification (e.g., ServSafe, TIPS).

Responsibilities

• Interact with guests to assure guest satisfaction.
• Provide personal service and attention to detail that exceeds expectations.
• Serve food, soda, water, wine, and beers (draft and bottled).
• Work as a team with colleagues and other service departments within the stadium.
• Clear/clean tables and run food to guests as needed.
• Perform opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned.

THE ROLE

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The Server position provides exceptional guest service while working collectively and cooperatively in the Clubs, Suites, or In-Seat environment.

• Ability to interact with guests in order to assure guest satisfaction.
• Provide our guests with personal service and attention to detail that will exceed their expectations.
• Serve food, soda, water, wine, draft beer, and bottled beer.
• Work as a team with fellow associates and other service departments within stadium.
• Support the service staff by clearing/cleaning tables and running food.
• Performs opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned.
• Must be knowledgeable of other food, beverage and retail outlets within the stadium.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and/or Experience

• Must have one (1) to two (2) years working in a fast-paced high-end club, or restaurant
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess Michigan Alcohol Server Certification (ex: Servsafe, TIPS)

Skills and Abilities

• All applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to interact with co-workers in order to assure compliance with company service standards.
• Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette.
• Ability to multitask in a fast paced, team orientated setting.
• Must be able to read, speak and write English Language in order to communicate with guests.
• Ability to lift and transport items weighing 10-30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds.
• Ability to work all events, including extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned production tasks including constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time

WORKING CONDITIONS

Location: On Site: Grand Rapids Complex (Van Andel Arena, Acrisure Amphitheater, Amway Stadium) in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
