Job Description: Bartender

Responsibilities

1. Guest Service/Point of Sale: Greet guests courteously, accurately take and deliver beverage orders, respond to guest needs, operate POS systems, and follow cash handling procedures.
2. Bartender Duties: Dispense alcohol responsibly, prepare drinks per recipes and standards, monitor guest alcohol consumption, and ensure compliance with liquor laws.
3. Bussing/Cleaning: Dispose of garbage, clear and wipe down the bar, restock barware, and maintain cleanliness.
4. Paperwork: Complete inventory and other required documentation accurately and timely.
5. Safety/Risk Management: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, handle food and beverages in compliance with regulations, and follow emergency procedures.
6. Self/Workload Management: Plan and prioritize tasks, adhere to grooming and appearance standards, attend meetings, and follow attendance policies.
7. Other Duties: Perform side work, contribute to team efforts, and support the guest experience.

Required Skills and Experience

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certification in TIPS or CARE preferred or ability to obtain it.
• At least one year of bartending experience or equivalent certification.
• Excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in English for communication and paperwork.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and 75 pounds occasionally, and to stand and walk throughout shifts.

Compensation and Benefits

Hourly rate: $17.15
