Job summary

Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza in New Jersey is seeking a friendly bartender to craft memorable experiences at the bar and dining room. You will greet guests, mix cocktails, and guide menu selections with energy and hospitality.

This role starts part-time with a path to full-time, and full-time staff receive health benefits. You will work at a fast-paced, guest-focused operation built on passion for great pizza and genuine service.

Qualifications

• Previous bartender or FOH restaurant experience is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails and menu items.
• Excellent communication and guest-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests at the bar and maintain a welcoming, energetic atmosphere.
• Craft cocktails and make menu recommendations to guests.
• Take and prepare drink orders quickly and accurately at the bar and POS.
• Ensure responsible alcohol service and compliance with state laws.
• Maintain bar cleanliness and restock supplies throughout the shift.

• Craft memorable moments with personalized, attentive service that goes beyond expectations.
• Maintain exceptional service standards for all guests at the bar and in the dining area.
• Take and prepare drink and food orders quickly and accurately to ensure a smooth guest experience.
• Stay proactive by restocking the bar, maintaining cleanliness, and keeping the workspace guest-ready at all times.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate strong knowledge of the ACFP menu to confidently answer questions and make suggestive sales.
• Create high-quality, craft cocktails with consistency and care.
• Maintain a full understanding of alcoholic beverage laws and ensure responsible alcohol service.
• Be of legal age to serve alcohol, per state guidelines.
• Build genuine connections with guests, creating memorable dining experiences.
• Operate a point-of-sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently.
• Stand for the duration of your shift and safely lift up to 30 pounds as needed.
• Keep a positive attitude and friendly demeanor throughout each shift.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment, upholding food safety and quality standards.

Previous experience as a bartender, bar back, server, or in any other front-of-house (FOH) restaurant role is highly desirable.
