Hotel Covington is seeking an experienced Bartender to join our Food & Beverage team. Candidates should have craft cocktail experience and a passion for hospitality.

Hotel Covington is a modern luxury hotel housed in a historic downtown building, inspired by local culture and regional sourcing. It aims to provide an authentic, locally influenced experience for both business and leisure travelers.

Job Responsibilities include:

1. Providing guests with high-quality beverage and dining experiences, adhering to standards of excellence.
2. Serving and clearing food and drinks professionally and unobtrusively.
3. Familiarity with menus, ingredients, and beverage service, including wine and liquor brands.
4. Creating and developing craft cocktails efficiently.
5. Managing bar supplies, garnishes, and utensils.
6. Preparing and serving beverages promptly and professionally.
7. Maintaining inventory and recognizing guest intoxication or disruptive behavior.

Qualifications include:

• Good proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of food and beverage experience.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Alcohol awareness certification and minimum age to serve alcohol.

Additional requirements involve maintaining cleanliness, attending meetings, following procedures, and working flexible hours as needed due to the hospitality industry's cyclical nature.
