Job summary

Il Fornaio Cucina Italiana in California is seeking a knowledgeable Bartender with at least 1 year of experience in a high-volume setting. You will wow guests with outstanding service, craft cocktails and pair drinks with menu items, while ensuring accuracy and timely service.

Qualifications

• Ability to make guest recommendations through knowledge of spirits, cocktails, wine, beer and a la carte food service.
• Delivering drinks and food correctly and efficiently.
• Adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines while maintaining a positive teamwork attitude.
• Communicating clearly, professionally, and respectfully.
• Having a flexible work schedule including weekend availability.
• Full bar service including wine, beer, specialty cocktails and espresso drinks.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks consistent with Il Fornaio standard drink recipes.
• Assume responsibility for the quality of guests' experience.
• Maintains a Guest focus while performing duties.
• Adhere to food safety standards and procedures.
• Prior experience as Bartender, Mixologist, or bar back is very helpful in being successful at this job.
• RBS (Responsible Beverage Service) Certificate required in CA locations.

Il Fornaio Cucina Italiana is currently interviewing for a knowledgeable, experienced, service-oriented Bartender. Experience in a similar environment is required. As a bartender, you'll wow our guests with outstanding service and hospitality. Our successful bartender will be gracious, friendly and be able to multitask in a high volume environment while focusing on exceeding guest expectations. 1 year of pervious full service bartender experience is required.
