DELIZIE RISTORANTE in Mission Viejo is looking for a dedicated Bartender to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will take drink orders, create a variety of cocktails, and ensure the bar area is well-maintained and inviting. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, possess 5+ years of bartending experience, and are knowledgeable about cocktails and wines, especially Italian. Your schedule should allow for flexibility, including weekends and holidays, to meet the needs of our guests.

Qualifications

• 5+ Years of experience in upscale dining or bartending preferred.
• Familiarity with Italian wines is a plus.
• Ability to memorize menus, daily specials, and cocktail recipes.

Responsibilities

• Take drink orders and confirm patrons are of legal drinking age.
• Collect payment and operate cash register.
• Maintain and restock inventory of bar supplies and ingredients.
• Perform opening and closing duties for the bar.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Bartender to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for taking customer orders, making drink recommendations, keeping the bar area clean and inviting, and creating a variety of traditional and creative cocktails. The ideal candidate is energetic, customer-service oriented, and is passionate about mixology.

Responsibilities

• Take drink orders
• Confirm patrons are of legal drinking age and follow all state and federal laws for serving alcoholic beverages
• Collect payment and operate cash register
• Order, maintain, and restock inventory of bar supplies and ingredients
• Perform duties associated with opening and closing the bar, including cleaning and stocking

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED
• 5+ Years Experience in upscale dining, bartending, or full-service restaurant environment preferred
• Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, wine service, beer, and spirits
• Familiarity with Italian wines
• Ability to provide polished, professional, and hospitable guest service in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and multitasking skills
• Experience using POS systems and handling cash/credit transactions accurately
• Current Food Handler Card and Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification required
• Ability to carry trays, stand for extended periods, and lift up to 30 pounds
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness in bar and dining areas
• Weekend, holiday, and evening availability required
• Ability to memorize menus, daily specials, wine lists, and cocktail recipes
• Comfortable assisting in both bartending and serving roles as business needs require
• Team-oriented mindset with strong work ethic and reliability
