JOB PURPOSE: The primary purpose of this position is to create a unique and personal experience for our Buffalo Wild Wings Guests by effectively presenting food and beverage options in an informative, friendly, and enthusiastic manner.
JOB FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Make personal connections with Guests to create loyalty through engaging conversations.
- Participate in Mystery Shop, GEM, and BARS programs. Follow Company Standard Operating Procedures for BARS program, including "Must ID anyone who looks under 40 years of age" and check Guests' identification to ensure they meet minimum age requirements for alcohol consumption.
- Read and organize tickets to serve Guests quickly and accurately, managing large crowds.
- Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to the standards and specifications set in the Standard Operating Procedures.
- Perform service, cleanliness, and operational duties such as bussing, resetting the bar, restocking caddies, cleaning menus, and managing menu placement.
- Stock the bar, refill ice bins, replace kegs, and restock bottles as needed.
- Monitor and manage bar inventory and control costs, including tracking waste per company drink specifications.
- Ensure proper levels of inventory such as stemware and garnishes, and prepare, wash, and sterilize items as needed.
- Take food and beverage orders from Guests and prepare beverages accordingly.
- Process Guest payments accurately following Standard Operating Procedures.
- Limit problems related to customer excessive drinking by taking appropriate precautions.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bar area and equipment.
- Support opening and/or closing duties as per FOH Support Responsibilities Policy. Clock in/out appropriately when performing FOH Support tasks outside of the Bartender role.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management, with pay rate determined by the specific duty.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical requirements include sitting, standing, bending, lifting, and moving intermittently during work hours. Notify your manager if a task exceeds your physical capabilities.
