Job summary

Bhbw Lodging is seeking a Bartender at our Brian Head Lodge in Brian Head, UT. You’ll craft cocktails, pour drafts, and keep the bar lively in a mountain lodge atmosphere.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in a hotel/restaurant setting, 21+ with Utah TIPS certification or willingness to obtain. Weekend and holiday shifts required; you’ll work with a tight-knit team and enjoy a season-pass benefit.

Qualifications

  • Must be 21+ years old.
  • 1–2 years bartending or bar-back experience in hotel, lodge, or restaurant setting.
  • Utah TIPS certification or willingness to obtain before start date.
  • Solid knowledge of cocktails, beer, and wine basics.
  • Strong communication and guest service skills; friendly and professional.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages with speed and consistency.
  • Greet guests and create a warm après-ski atmosphere.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar throughout shifts.
  • Process transactions accurately using the POS system.
  • Verify guest age and comply with Utah alcohol service laws.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house staff for seamless service.
  • Assist with opening and closing bar duties, including inventory counts.
  • Contribute to a positive team culture in a high-energy environment.

Join our team at one of Southern Utah's premier mountain destinations. As a Bartender at our skier's lodge, you'll be the warm welcome guests get after a day on the slopes — crafting cocktails, pouring cold drafts, and keeping the energy alive in a lively, mountain lodge atmosphere. You'll work alongside a tight-knit hospitality crew in a setting that's as stunning as it is fun.

What You’ll Do:
  • Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages with speed and consistency.
  • Greet and engage guests, creating a warm and welcoming après-ski atmosphere.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar throughout each shift.

QualificationsWhat We're Looking For:

  • Solid knowledge of classic cocktails, beer styles, and wine basics.
  • Strong communication and guest service skills — friendly, professional, and quick on your feet.
  • Ability to work a fast-paced environment, including weekends and holidays (peak ski season).
  • Reliable and punctual with a team-first attitude.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
