Big Sky Resort is seeking a bartender who crafts exceptional drinks and connects with guests to elevate the mountain experience. You will guide guests through classic and specialty cocktails, maintaining a lively, guest-focused environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of bartending experience.
  • Passion for guest service and enthusiasm for the hospitality industry.
  • Interest in cocktail trends and foundational mixology, beer, and wine knowledge.
  • Friendly, calm, and confident under shifting business demands.
  • Commitment to cleanliness, safety, and a professional appearance.
  • Ability to multitask and stay focused in high-paced service periods.
  • Reliability in following standards, procedures, and team expectations.
  • Flexible availability for mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull a minimum of 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver outstanding bar service with a friendly, upbeat attitude and a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Prepare classic and specialty cocktails with consistency and precision.
  • Communicate clearly and tactfully with guests and teammates in a high-volume setting.
  • Manage bar operations including order execution, cash handling, and guest recovery.
  • Take initiative in supporting the entire front-of-house team by jumping into tasks that enhance the overall service experience.
  • Maintain a clean, well-organized, and well-stocked bar at all times.
  • Seek and apply feedback from leadership to continually refine your skills.
  • Share knowledge about Big Sky Resort and the surrounding community to help guests feel more connected to their experience.
  • Uphold the Boyne Standards and Boyne Basics during every shift.
