Job summary

Lone Mountain Ranch is seeking a Bartender to craft memorable beverage experiences and support private dinners, receptions, and Ranch events in a hospitality-forward setting.

You will blend guest-focused service with knowledge of wines, spirits, beer, and cocktails, while maintaining a clean, organized bar and collaborating with the F&B team to deliver polished hospitality.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of bartending experience in a quality restaurant, resort, or hospitality setting.
• Strong working knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, cocktails, and proper beverage preparation.
• Creativity and confidence in developing cocktails based on guest preferences.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and remain composed during fast-paced service.
• Experience using a POS system and accurately handling cash and credit card transactions.
• Collaborative, dependable approach and commitment to high standards of hospitality.
• Current alcohol server certification or ability to obtain certification as required.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and presentation standards.
• Create off-menu cocktails based on guest preferences and seasonal ingredients.
• Provide knowledgeable wine, spirits, beer, and cocktail recommendations and pairings.
• Engage with guests, anticipate needs, and deliver a welcoming bar experience.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar and handle opening/closing duties.
• Support inventory, restocking, setup, and breakdown for events and Ranch operations.
• Collaborate with servers and the Food & Beverage team to ensure smooth service.
• Provide beverage service for private dinners, receptions, and Ranch events.
• Accurately process guest transactions using the POS system.
• Maintain current knowledge of menus, cocktails, beverages, and Ranch events.
• Follow responsible alcohol service and safety/compliance standards.

Craft Memorable Experiences Behind the Bar

As a Bartender at Lone Mountain Ranch, you’ll play an important role in creating an exceptional dining and beverage experience for our guests. From thoughtfully prepared classics and creative cocktails to wine and spirits recommendations, you’ll bring knowledge, personality, and attention to detail to every interaction.

This role extends beyond the restaurant bar. Our Bartenders also support private dinners, receptions, celebrations, and special events throughout the Ranch, working closely with the Food & Beverage team to deliver polished, personal hospitality wherever service takes place.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages consistently and according to established recipes and presentation standards.
• Create thoughtful off-menu cocktails based on guest preferences and seasonal ingredients.
• Provide knowledgeable wine, spirits, beer, and cocktail recommendations, including pairings that complement our food offerings.
• Engage naturally with guests, anticipate needs, and create a welcoming and personalized bar experience.
• Maintain a clean, organized, well-stocked bar and complete opening and closing responsibilities.
• Support inventory counts, restocking, setup, and breakdown as needed.
• Work collaboratively with servers, culinary team members, and fellow Food & Beverage employees to keep service running smoothly.
• Provide beverage service for private dinners, receptions, celebrations, and other Ranch events.
• Accurately process guest transactions using the POS system.
• Maintain current knowledge of menus, specialty cocktails, beverage offerings, and Ranch events.
• Follow responsible alcohol service requirements and all applicable safety and compliance standards.
