Job summary

Four Seasons Atlanta is seeking a dynamic Bartender to join the Brasserie Margot team. You will serve wines, spirits, and cocktails with knowledge of preparations, answer guest questions, and maintain a polished bar experience in a luxury hotel setting.

The role requires at least two years of bartending experience, flexibility to work AM/PM shifts, weekends and holidays, and the ability to pour, mix, and describe drinks with confidence.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years bartending or related work experience.
• Ability to work all shifts including AM, PM, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to pour, mix and describe a wide variety of wines, spirits and cocktails.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve wines, spirits and cocktails according to Four Seasons standards.
• Take and confirm guest orders and ensure accuracy with the POS system.
• Engage guests with knowledge of drinks, origin, and preparation methods.
• Provide attentive service and respond to guest needs promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with bar staff and supervisors to maintain a smooth bar operation.

Career Opportunity

The Brasserie Margot team is seeking a dynamic and passionate Bartender to serve guest needs by providing exceptional knowledge of wine spirits and mixed drinks as well as information regarding preparation methods.

Bartender

• Prepare and serve a selection of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks from the menu while ensuring proper pouring, mixing, and blending according to established recipes and established Four Seasons Standards.
• Confirm guest orders including any special needs or requests from the lounge server using the hotel’s point-of-sales system; check completed orders with the guest’s original order.
• Service and take orders from guests seated at the bar area offering interesting, and vivid descriptions of each item’s, origin, taste, and preparation methods; maintain a working knowledge of liquors, wines, beets, ports, eau de vies, cognacs and specialty drinks.
• Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
• Properly and accurately close guest checks; process cash and credit card payments; properly settle voided checks or complimentary items.
• Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.

Non-Essential Functions

• Serve food items in the bar area.
• Assist with bar inventory.
• Cut fruit and prepare beverage garnishments.
• Service all needs for any private event or function.

Who We Look For

An ideal candidate will have Minimum two years bartending or related work. They have the ability to work all shifts including, AM's, PM's, weekends, and holidays. Ability to pour, mix, and blend a wide variety, of wines, spirits, and missed drinks. Ability to accurately process cash and credit card transactions.
