Job Overview

Serve guests in a hospitable manner to ensure a positive guest experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Maintain proper and adequate setup of the bar daily, including requisitioning and stocking all beverages and supplies.
2. Responsible for storing and preparing garnishes, juices, and perishables to ensure quality.
3. Greet guests courteously, promote and document drink orders.
4. Mix, garnish, and present drinks following standard recipes and portion control.
5. Comply with all alcohol service laws and regulations.
6. Input orders into the POS system, create checks, and maintain accountability of beverages served.
7. Handle cash transactions accurately, verify charges, and balance cash drawers.
8. Secure all beverage and food items, and deposit cash drops.
9. Adhere to attendance policies and be available to work as scheduled.
10. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

• Previous hotel or bar experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills with guests and staff.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service.
• Mathematical skills for cash handling and portion sizing.
• Sufficient manual dexterity for garnishing, serving, and stocking.
• Ability to remember menu items and operate POS systems.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work in confined spaces.
• Effective interpersonal skills and adaptability in communication.
