A leading venue management company in Albuquerque is seeking a Beverage Service Associate to manage beverage stations during events. The role involves cash handling, inventory management, and ensuring compliance with liquor laws. Candidates must possess strong customer service skills and an Alcohol Server's Permit. Flexibility to work nights and weekends is required.
Sets up and services individual beverage locations.
Properly handle cash.
Enforce all liquor laws.
Verify and account for all liquor inventory.
Maintain proper sanitation of work area.
Follow proper safety practices in the work area.
Provide pleasant and efficient service to customers.
Report to F&B Personnel in appropriate uniform, for assigned location.
Prepare all beverage items for sale in the station.
Sell to customers, charging the amount indicated on ASM GLOBAL price list.
Receive and handle cash and/or tickets.
Accurately verify all cash and liquor inventory with supervisor.
Verify that cash register is programmed properly, according to ASM GLOBAL approved sales prices.
Follow Bar Procedures as described on the following page.
Adhere to all rules and regulations applicable to beverage operations and ASM GLOBAL Food and Beverage Division.
Request identification for every guest purchasing alcohol.
Perform other related duties as assigned by Food Service Manager.
Must be able to take directions and perform the work effectively.
Must have sufficient math skills to accurately count and handle money.
Have a basic working knowledge of cash registers and cash handling procedures.
Speak and understand English well enough to converse with customers, supervisors, and employees.
Maintain a pleasant personality and a neat appearance.
Be able to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
Be able to carry and lift, according to industry standards.
Speak and understand English sufficiently to read and comprehend safety policies and procedures, and to communicate with customers, supervisors, and employees.
Maintain a positive, customer service-oriented attitude at all times.
Possess strong knowledge of sanitary practices.
Maintain proper grooming and dress code standards.
Demonstrate a work ethic that encourages urgency and quality within a team environment.
Work collaboratively with other staff members.
Be capable of undertaking and completing multiple tasks.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Must hold a current New Mexico Alcohol Server’s Permit.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, in addition to normal business hours.
Possess a basic working knowledge of bar operations.
Follow directions and perform work effectively.
Have a pleasant personality and a neat appearance.
