Job summary

MGM Resorts International is seeking an On-Call Barista at Park MGM Starbucks in Las Vegas. You will craft beverages, assist guests with orders, and contribute to guest WOW moments during dynamic shifts.

The role requires 18+ years old, a high school diploma or equivalent, and cash handling proficiency. Only on-call shifts are expected, with benefits and training opportunities available for growth.

Qualifications

• Ability to work varied, on-call shifts.
• 6 months of barista or coffee shop experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take and place order and serve and garnish food and drinks efficiently and accurately in work area.
• Collect money, while following all proper cash handling and comp procedures.
• Maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and the appearance of the front and back of house; clear tables and counters; sweep and maintain the dining area.
• Pack and complete order as per guests’ preference with any necessary condiments.
• Properly label and date products per safety and sanitation procedures.
• Perform opening and closing duties based upon shift assignment.
• Unload warehouse orders and stock the orders to designated storage; replenish products as needed.
• Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority; refer to management if needed.

THE STARTING RATE: $15.6236

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Take and place order and serve and garnish food and drinks efficiently and accurately in work area as applicable.
• Collect money, while following all proper cash handling and comp procedures.
• Maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and the appearance of the front and back of house, clear tables and counters; sweep and maintain the cleanliness of the dining area without interfering with the comfort of guests.
• Pack and complete order as per guests’ preference with any necessary condiments.
• Properly label and date products per safety and sanitation procedures.
• Perform opening and closing duties based upon shift assignment.
• Unload warehouse orders and stock the orders to designated storage maintaining organization, stock and replenish products as needed in workstation, counters, tables, etc.
• Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise, refer the matter to management, notify supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft.
• Perform other job-related duties as requested.
