Job summary

This on-call role is ideal for someone who enjoys guest interaction and teamwork while maintaining efficiency. The position offers starting pay of $14.78 per hour plus tips, with responsibilities ranging from order-taking to stock replenishment and shift-based

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of prior relevant experience in a food handler role preferred.
• Must be able to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Sell and deliver beverages and items on the menu in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Take and fulfill orders, serve and garnish drinks and food.
• Handle cash and adhere to cash handling procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of front and back of house areas and dining space.
• Stock and manage supplies, restock machines as needed.

The Job

As an on-call Barista at Starbucks inside Mandalay Place, you will create exceptional guest experiences through friendly customer service and quality beverages in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. This on-call role is perfect for someone who enjoys connecting with guests, multitasking, and creating memorable experiences as part of a dynamic team.

THE STARTING RATE: $14.78 + tips

The Day-to-day

• Knowledgeable of selling techniques and service delivery for both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and items on the menu
• Take and place order, serve and garnish food and drinks efficiently and accurately in work area as applicable
• Collect money, while following all proper cash handling and comp procedures
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and the appearance of the front and back of house area, clear tables and counters; sweep and maintain the cleanliness of the dining area without interfering with the comfort of guests
• Pack and complete order as per guests’ preference with necessary condiments
• Perform opening and closing duties based upon shift assignment
• Unload warehouse orders and stock the orders in designated storage maintaining organization, stock and replenish supplies and machines as needed Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise, refer the matter to management, notify supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft

The Ideal Candidate

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2+ Years of prior relevant experience as a food handler in a similar environment preferred
• Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
