Job Summary

Located in the hotel lobby, the Barista is responsible for providing guests with prompt service, quality beverages and products, and maintaining a clean and comfortable environment.

Essential Job Functions

This summary outlines primary responsibilities and qualifications. The hotel operates 24/7, so shifts may vary in days, start times, and hours worked.

  • Maintain a calm demeanor during high volume or unusual events to ensure store standards and set a positive example for the team.
  • Evaluate environment and customer cues to anticipate needs.
  • Communicate information to management for team response.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service with a customer-first attitude, engaging with guests effectively.
  • Respond promptly to customer needs.
  • Follow operational policies, including cash handling, safety, and security procedures to ensure partner safety during shifts.
  • Keep workspace clean and organized for easy resource and product access.
  • Consistently provide quality beverages, whole beans, and food products, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
  • Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Previous supervisor experience required.
  • Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality.
  • Work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays.
  • Meet store policies and standards, including quality, cash handling, and safety procedures.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Physical Demands
  • Stand and walk for extended periods; perform physical tasks including lifting.
  • Occasional twisting, bending, stooping, reaching.
  • Frequent talking, hearing, seeing, smiling.
