As a shift Lead at Coffee Commissary, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the barista team, ensuring that all beverages are prepared to perfection, and maintaining a welcoming environment for both customers and staff. This role is ideal for someone with a deep knowledge of specialty coffee, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor the barista team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, ensuring each drink meets Coffee Commissary’s quality standards.
• Maintain a deep understanding of coffee beans, brewing methods, and equipment to ensure the highest quality in every cup.
• Train new baristas and provide ongoing coaching to improve skills and knowledge across the team.
• Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure the café runs smoothly.
• Handle customer inquiries and feedback with professionalism and a focus on enhancing the customer experience.
• Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and cleaned according to company standards.
• Assist in creating and maintaining an inviting atmosphere in the café, including the setup and presentation of the coffee bar.
• Collaborate with the management team on menu development, promotions, and other initiatives to drive customer satisfaction and sales.
