What You Do

• Work on the café floor, which requires physical activity (e.g., prolonged standing, repetitive bending, lifting, climbing, operating espresso machines), and on the sales floor when needed.
• Deliver the perfect beverage that exceeds customer expectations through engaging, building rapport, listening, and providing friendly, fast service with a tailored order creation approach.
• Make relevant beverage and food recommendations to ensure an engaging customer experience that connects them with the right products to meet their needs.
• Ensure that the café is welcoming to all customers by maintaining a stocked bake case and neatly displayed merchandise.
• Take pride in the café environment, prioritizing cleanliness and tidiness, recognizing that cleanliness impacts the overall customer experience.
• Execute all operational standards correctly, in a timely manner, and in accordance with café standards, safety, and health codes.
• Protect company assets by adhering to all processes, working efficiently to control waste and shrink.
• Recognize and offer to help both customers and employees with urgency and care.

Notes

An employee in this position can expect an hourly rate starting at $15.00.
Benefits include:
• For part-time less than 20 hours/week: Sick pay (1 hour for every 30 hours worked), Employee Discount.
• For part-time 20-29.99 hours/week: 24-34 hours of sick time annually, Employee Discount, 1 week of vacation in the first year (2 weeks thereafter), 1 Personal Day (first year, 2 days thereafter), 6 Company Holidays, 401(k).
• For full-time 30+ hours/week: 36-48 hours of sick time annually, Employee Discount, 1 week of vacation in the first year (2 years thereafter), 1 Personal Day (first year, 2 days thereafter), 6 Company Holidays, 401(k).
