Job summary

Dorothy Lane Market is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our DLM Coffee Bar in Mason, OH. You will deliver friendly, efficient service to customers and embark on barista-level trainings to learn about coffee origins and history.

This role supports a welcoming environment with opportunities for cross-training and advancement, while embracing the DLM values of honesty, safety, helpfulness, and hard work.

Qualifications

• Desire to make customers happy by providing Honestly Better® Food and Service.
• Willingness to learn about and taste great food.
• Commitment to DLM Team Values: Be Honest, Safe, Helpful, and Hard-Working.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Prior coffee knowledge is a plus.
• 18 years or older is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at the DLM Coffee Bar with friendly, efficient service.
• Participate in barista-level trainings and learn about coffee origin and history.
• Help maintain a clean, welcoming coffee bar environment.
• Support cross-training and opportunities for advancement.

When customers visit the DLM Coffee Bar, it's a bright spot in their day. For some, it's even a splurge. And that experience starts with their barista. We are seeking an enthusiastic and friendly individual who has a contagious passion for great food and coffee to join our DLM Coffee Bar team. In our dynamic Coffee Bars, you'll have the opportunity to complete barista-level trainings, learn about the history and origin of great coffee, and best of all –meet great people!

Qualifications:

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Prior coffee knowledge is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Standing for long periods of time.
• Lifting up to 30lbs.
• Must have holiday and weekend availability.
