Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is hiring at the Virginia Guesthouse, a 214-room hotel with 25,000 square feet of conference space located on the Grounds of the University of Virginia. Opening in April 2026, the Guesthouse will host guests, conference attendees, faculty and students in a vibrant, welcoming setting that emphasizes service excellence.

Join our team as a beverage and service associate to prepare drinks, maintain cleanliness, and deliver friendly, efficient guest service.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn quickly and follow instructions

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the preparation and service of beverages, maintaining cleanliness and providing excellent customer service

• Available to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and holidays
• Engage with customers and respond to needs through clear communication
• Prepare food and beverages to standard recipes or customized for customers
• Available to perform many different tasks during each shift

What You Will Have An Opportunity To Do

Responsible for the preparation and service of beverages, maintaining cleanliness and providing excellent customer service

• Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays
• Meet store operating policies and standards, including providing quality beverages and food products, cash handling and store safety and security, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Engage with and understand our customers, including discovering and responding to customer needs through clear and pleasant communication
• Prepare food and beverages to standard recipes or customized for customers, including recipe changes such as temperature, quantity of ingredients or substituted ingredients
• Available to perform many different tasks within the store during each shift

Required Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

• Ability to learn quickly
• Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed

What are we looking for?

• Able to carry and move items weighing up to 20 pounds.
• Strong communication and multitasking skills.
• Knowledge of all types of coffee beverages.
• Must be able to bend, twist, lift and stand for the shift worked.
