Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is opening the Virginia Guesthouse, a 214-room hotel on the Grounds of the University of Virginia, and seeks a beverage associate to craft and serve drinks while ensuring a clean station and outstanding guest service. You will join a welcoming team dedicated to exceptional hospitality and growth opportunities.

This role requires quick learning, strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to lift up to 20 pounds.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn quickly.

• Knowledge of all types of coffee beverages.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve beverages, maintain cleanliness, and provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance; flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and holidays.
• Meet store policies, including cash handling and safety.
• Engage with customers to understand needs and respond to requests.
• Prepare beverages and foods to standard recipes or customize if needed.
• Perform multiple tasks within the store during each shift.

What you will have an opportunity to do:

Responsible for the preparation and service of beverages, maintaining cleanliness and providing excellent customer service Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays Meet store operating policies and standards, including providing quality beverages and food products, cash handling and store safety and security, with or without reasonable accommodation Engage with and understand our customers, including discovering and responding to customer needs through clear and pleasant communication Prepare food and beverages to standard recipes or customized for customers, including recipe changes such as temperature, quantity of ingredients or substituted ingredients Available to perform many different tasks within the store during each shift

Compensation: $16.00 - $16.00
