Part-Time Barista at Hill House Home

Hill House is seeking a Part-Time Barista at our Charleston store to become a pivotal part of our Hill House family. In this role, you'll serve as a brand ambassador and a key player in building relationships, both internally and externally, to cultivate an unparalleled service culture. We are looking for a warm, professional, and dynamic associate to help drive our café’s sales performance and ensure operational excellence by assisting the Café Manager.

What You'll Do:

Drive Excellence in Sales & Service:

• Engage with clients, ensuring the highest level of service and meeting client experience goals.
• Greet customers in a friendly manner.
• Answer customer questions regarding menu choices.
• Promote and recommend menu items.

Operations:

• Assist in the smooth running of cafe operations, adhering to policies and procedures, and maintaining operational standards.
• Manage inventory effectively to align with sales goals.
• Maintain equipment such as espresso machines, coffee brewers, and grinders.

Who you are:

• At least 1 year of experience in a café, coffee shop, or restaurant setting.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Self-motivated with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Flexible and proactive.
• Committed to learning and advocacy.

Hourly Rate: $20-$24/hr
