Job summary

The Quail is seeking a Part-Time Barista in Carmel Valley, California to support the Food and Beverage Department. The role involves crafting beverages, serving guests, and providing friendly hospitality in a prestigious hotel setting.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work early mornings, Friday–Sunday and holiday shifts as needed.
• Basic understanding of food and beverage, tourism and hospitality industry.
• Serve Safe Certification preferred.
• Ability to multitask and have great communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve beverages including coffee, espresso drinks, teas hot or cold.
• Perform maintenance on coffee machines and equipment.
• Sell and serve food and beverage to guests in dining outlets.
• Follow duties as directed by supervisors.
• Understand and perform basic table service.
• Support ongoing drink, wine and service education.

Working alongside the amazing team at The Quail, we are seeking a Part-Time Barista to support our Food and Beverage Department.

• Work for a highly prestigious hotel located in sunny Carmel Valley, California.

Key Accountabilities

• Prepare and serve beverages like coffee, blended coffees, espresso drinks, and teas whether hot or cold and all other drink orders requested by our guests.
• Perform general and preventive maintenance on machines used for coffee making regularly.
• Sell and serve food and beverage to guests in the Club\'s dining outlets.
• Execute all duties as requested by immediate supervisors.
• Understand and perform basic table service.
• Responsible for ongoing food, wine and service education provided by management.

General Requirements
