Job summary

Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking a part-time Barista at the Barton Creek Resort & Spa in Austin, TX. You will serve guests at Velvet Joe's coffee shop, brew beverages, answer questions, and assist with upselling while ensuring accurate cash handling and maintaining equipment.

Flexibility for weekends/holidays is required, with lifting and standing for extended periods. This role emphasizes guest service, beverage quality, and teamwork within the hotel’s dining and retail spaces.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years.
• Previous barista experience preferred.
• Cash handling experience required.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
• Able to bend, push, pull and stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs.
• Active TABC license and Food Handler Certificate at time of hire.
